I reconstructed an iBook clamshell someone had spilled soda on and shorted out. I replaced all of the shorted parts, and the machine runs fine (albeit infuriatingly slowly), except for one aspect. The entire keyboard works, save for the period key, which doesn't work at all. Is there any common problem here i can fix, or should i just go buy a new keyboard?
