Ok, I've found 2 sites that sell - specificly for the iBook G3 500MHz - 512MB PC133 RAM sticks. Apple, and all of the other RAM it uses (lower than 512 (256, 128, 64, 32), says that it uses PC100. Whats the deal? Do I purchase a PC133 512MB RAM stick for my iBook?

I think that I'm using PC133 in my iBook G3/500, but I'm not sure.

PC133 should be able to downclock, but you should to check Apple's support page.

If they do say specifically for the iBook G3, then go for it.

Well, this was crucial, and they usually do a good job at saying: Ok, this RAM will down clock; I think thats why I like Crucial. Their RAM is almost always universal.

BTW I love the flow chart lol.

I've noticed that a lot of retailers have stopped carrying PC100 RAM. Most of them just offer PC133 as compatible since it should downclock to PC100. I've also seen it work on PC66 machines before.
