I had no idea where to post this so here it goes.........

I'm trying to clear the case of my ibook G3 because the paint is cracked. The problem i have run into is removing the paint.

I can not figure out how to get it off. I will not sand it because it will scratch the case and look horrible. I tried paint thinner but that just cleaned the paint and did not remove it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the paint off?

Also, Any mod ideas for an empty 22" ACD case

The case is white plastic there is no paint I believe. Your best bet is to paint or dye it and then apply some protective coverings.

Edit: never mind the above post. I did some googling and one person put it in an alcohol bath for 15 minutes and rubbed it off.
