iBook G3 or G4?

G4 for sure. The keyboard on the G4 in my opinion sucks as opposed to the keyboard on the G3, but that's such a minor issue. The G3's on the other hand - I worked at a school where the teachers had iBook G3's (about 20 of them in the batch) and almost all of them die due to logic board failures, it seriously seems inevitable. As for the comment on saying iBook G4's are "piss slow" is ridiculous! I'm still using a Clamshell iBook G3 to do everyday tasks.

Definitely the G4. The G3's, though pretty, had lots of reliability issues.
