iBook G3 Snow G4 upgrade possible?

no because of its 750CX CPU its not pin compatible with any g4 ever made (7400 or 7410).

I think the guy to ask who may know would be @dosdude1 . IIRC he has upgraded g3 iMacs to g4 cpus.

The G3 iMacs have the CPU on a card, but I don't think that's the case in any iBook. I imagine, due to space constraints, that there's no room to fit any sort of "adapter" in there.

As mentioned before, not possible due to use of PPC750CXe CPU, which does not share footprint/pinout with any G4 CPU.

I would suggest that if you want a G4 with a similar profile as the iMac G3, then get an eMac.
