ibook g3 won't sleep when closed

[Project Alice]

For about a 3 weeks now this ibook wont sleep when i close it,
the lock that comes down when its closed still works so i dont thinks its the magnet, should I buy a new screen?

It is not a clamshell, ibook dual usb
