Have you checked in System Profiler? Or did you use that Open Firmware trick?

Your firmware version is also in System Profiler.

upgrading ram is gonna cost ya prolly 150 i assume, and no you cannot upgrade puma free... that is prolly one of the most noobish questions ive heard in a long time. anyway, i think you can buy jag from apple but your better bet is ebay or another third party site
 
ok I did it . I upgraded my ibook g3 from 64mb to 320 of ram .

so what i have now is a laptop with 366mhz , 320 RAm , 6 GB . and 10.1.5 .
My problem remains OS 10.1.5. I was thinking about purchasing 10.3 from Ebay ...any comments please, should I go for it ?
