Hello everyone,

I'm dealing with an iBook G4 that went through some water damage.

The good news is that only the DC In part (922-6649) has been hit.

However, except for one overpriced listing on Ebay, I cannot find that part anywhere else.

If someone has a spare or would know of cheaper alternatives than Ebay, please let me know.

Thank you.

These are the compatible models, and I do have one, sadly it's functional in every way and I don't want to part it out. I think I paid $35-$40 plus $15-$20 shipping on the whole iBook, and it looks like these things run around $50+shipping.

I could sell you the whole unit for around that much $50+shipping, and you'd have some spare parts, but I'd really rather do a trade if you are in the US and you have anything I maybe after.

Right now I'm looking for Old World or older Macs, but I'd be up to any kind of trade, doesn't have to be computer related, just tell me what you don't use anymore that you maybe willing to trade?

Hi Dearthnavader,

I actually don't have much to trade as all my Power PCs are devoted to specific tasks.

Only my Quad doesn't do anything now as it needs a new power supply.

I'll bite the bullet and get the part from Ebay.

Thank you for chiming in with all that information. Much appreciated. :)
