You're left in the cold. No doubt third party USB sticks will start appearing soon enough (if they haven't already) but they're notorious for crashing Macs so maybe avoid them, especially if they weren't designed for OSX.

Is your internet connection fast enough for you to justify this purchase anyway?

Unless I had fiber optics internet I wouldn't worry about it too much. Then again maybe if you have a huge house you might need it.

I'd benefit from 802.11N for file sharing between computers, but I agree that an internet connection won't even get close to testing 802.11G's capabilities.
