iBook G4 "bad onboard memory sim"

I'm thinking of bidding on this unit, however, I do not understand the problem. Can someone explain. Thanks.

iBook G4s have some on-board RAM and a RAM slot for expansion. Sounds like the on-board RAM is bad.

well i dont know that pc has also memory sim? all i know that has a sim are mobile phones

The auction is using the wrong spelling. It's SIMM (Single Inline Memory Module), not SIM.
