iBook G4 beeps 3 times??

For some reason my iBook froze up, so I held the power button til it went off, then started it back up and now it just beeps 3 times and nothing, what is wrong with it?

No goood memory banks.

There is a possible cure that works for some people. Disassemble the iBook (keyboard, airport card??) to get to the RAM. Remove the RAM and clean the contacts (contact cleaner or pencil eraser). Reassemble.

hmmm ok this is odd, so I started to take it apart, took the keyboard off, took out the airport card, unhooked the airport card and put it all back tgether and now it starts up, odd?

Dirty contacts. Simply removing and reassembling made the contact better.

Yeah I guess the airport card was dirty, I never even got intothe RAM part, I need to get a small screwdriver and as going to do it tomorrow.
