What type of Hard Drive does the iBook G4 use? I've had mine for a few years, and it has only the little 30GB drive, and i want to upgrade it. If I had the money, I'd get a MacBook, but being in high school and earning minimum wage at the burger joint isn't the best way to get a new laptop. So I want to upgrade the hard drive.

The iBook G4 holds a common 2,5 inch ATA drive, very easy to come by, in sizes up to 160 GB. You can find guides to do the upgrade on http://www.ifixit.com . But be careful: in the upper left corner there is a tiny socket that holds a connector to the on/off button. This socket is usually very fragile, and will come off the mobo very easily! Once it has come off you will have no way to turn your iBook on, rendering it useless. Only very skilled people with special welding equipment will be able to reconnect the power bnutton to the mobo, which obviously will cost you a bundle.
