I'm not sure if this has already been brought up or not, forgive me if it has and direct me there.

I've noticed this recently and I'm hoping there is an answer as to why.

I don't understand why the iBooks app. icon wasn't updated to be consistent with all the others especially since it was built into iOS 8.. and still not even changed in 8.0.2. I believe the more curved icon was used in OS X to access Bookmarks and Reading List within Safari before it was used for the look of the iBooks icon for the Twitter page and iTunes advertisement. 3 different icons for the same application seems very unApple like but I'm just curious. :rolleyes:
