My iBook keyboard won't pop up when I pull down the two tabs. I've tried turning the little screw in between the volume up and the num lock like it says in the manual but that didn't work. My reseller told me that the new iBooks have magnets which require another magnet to open. Is this true? Or should I go over there and tell them to fix it for me? It's pretty annoying.

It doesn't pop up by itself, to open mine I have to hook my fingernails under the tabs and pull down, then up - it's quite tricky if you've just cut your nails!

yeah. the magnets hold it down, and you have to give it a good pull upwards with the tabs pulled inwards (towards the front of the ibook). if it starts to bow like it is caught in the middle, that means the keyboard lock is on. you'll have to adjust that so it looks like this roughly (|) with the screw slit facing parallel to the | key ;)

also, the keyboards for the iBook and the powerbook are identical, less the color.
