Discuss here the iBook (soon perhaps MacBook), and what you like and hate about it (mostly like). hehe😀

The only reason to buy a 14" now, instead of a 12" is the SuperDrive and the screen, but that may change when they switch to Intel. Write some specs you'd like to see in the new Intel iBooks (just call 'em MacBooks).😉

Isn't there enough threads on this...?

They are indeed plentiful and we hardly need new ones sprouting up like weeds after a summer rain. The link you provided is very comprehensive and the one I look at since I am eagerly anticipating the introduction of the new Intel MacBooks.

There are no threads concerning this computer, no.

But i hope the specs for the new MacBooks are:

12 and 14" widescreen, 1280x768 (no 13").
1.5 Core Solo and 1.67 GHz Core Duo
Up to 2 GB RAM
60 & 80 GB HDD, 5.400 rpm. up to 120 GB
8x SuperDrive available in both models (I don't think they will be DL)
X800 with 64 MB DDR😀 PLEASE DVI!
Frontrow
2 USB 2.0, 1 FireWire400
1xheadphones, 1xmicrophone (5.1)
Gigabit ethernet
MagSafe powerplug, still 6 hours of battery life
Thinner (3 cm instead of 3.42 now)
Backlit keyboard (Please Apple!!)

$999 and 1349$ (14" more expensive because of Core Duo)
