ibook "My Alerts"

hello,

Does anyone use the "My Alerts" feature in ibook. I have certain authors selected but for some reason I am getting alerts for everything including my selected authors. All I want is alerts for my authors, not training manuals in other languages. Is this an ibook bug or does someone have a fix for this.
