Quick one here -

Uk iBook with standard 3 pin plug going to USA and New Zealand for a month

what sort of travel adaptor do i need ?
 
You could get Apples adaptor kit.Simple nice design expensive or just get a UK to US and a UK to NZ adaptors about 3-5£ each.
