I am thinking of selling my daughters 12" iBook. I am looking for advice on what a fair price to ask might be - or if I should just look to donate it.

The reason I need to ask is due to the fact that it has a broken monitor. She dropped it about 12 inches from the couch to the floor, and it landed on the corner of the open monitor. The damage is to the hinges and frame, not the monitor itself. So it no longer can be closed, or stay open without being propped against something. Its a pain, but the iBook and the monitor still work just fine. Rather than spend the money ($400) to replace the monitor, I've decided to put that towards a new computer.

The iBook is pre Tiger, and is running 10.3.9. I have all the original install discs, packaging, and docs. It has a 40Gb HD, 384Mb memory, Bluetooth, an Airport Extreme card, and a wireless mouse and keyboard.

I assume its worth something, but how much?
