Hi all,

When I try and change the sensitivity of the trackpad in my iBook, I am noticing interesting behavior. If I move the slider only one or two notches to the righ (more sensitive) and close the preference screen, re-open it, it does not save my settings.

If i move the slider all the way to the right it will save the highest. One or two notches over from the right, it will alter the setting by 1 notch to the left. All of this is very confusing when fine tuning the sensitivity. Have any of you seen this?

I do not have an external mouse plugged in and have not installed any mouse drivers.

thanks

Jeff

Try changing the preference again and then restart the computer.
