would it be possible to upgrade the video card in a 14" iBook?
I'd like to have at least 64mb devoted memory.

I need a setup that can handle cs2!!!!
but I can't afford a powerbook!!!!!!!!

maybe I'll just cut that **** off! (lol)
If I bump up the ram to 1536mb will that make up for it?
CS2 will be the only program running.

more ram is always a good thing - you might want to do the screen hack to give you some more retail space for CS2

There's no practical way to upgrade the video card on an iBook or any other Apple portable.

I'm not completely sure, but I don't think the video card affects the performance of Photoshop, since it's a CPU intensive program. I have a 1.33GHz 12" iBook, and I upgraded the RAM to 1.5 GB, now it handles Photoshop fine.
