I think they are both equal until you add in the portability, and the
ibook is obviously more portable, so I think you should get the
iBook. I think it is a much better deal. You don't get very much
from a g4.

lol thats y im not getting an emac anymore ;) lol
i never knew the 800 mhz 12.1" ibook had the new "total snow" case, i thought just the 700 mhz model did lol..
 
it is so nice to be able to sit on the couch and work on your computer. if you get an airport card, that makes it all the nicer
 
very true... Dragging a 50 ft long ethernet cord around the house
gets to be quite annoying. I have been wondering this a while:

Is wireless (airport) broadband much slower then broadband with
wires, if slower at all?
 
i dont want to get an emac now (cuz there seems to be ALOT more problems than i thought b4), and i have dialup internet so i'll probably be just in a few diff rooms (mainly infront of the tv relaxing hopefully :D cuz im tired of sitting infront of the computer desk typing up crud lol)
i'll probably purchase an airport card after i move (if move somewheres with high speed net access)
