iBook won't download on ipad

I've tried many times to download "Python for Informatics" from the ibooks store on the iPad. However I just get the circle with no progress for days. It won't let me cancel the download either. I can get it to cancel by rebooting but it doesn't always work.

Any help is appreciated.
