As many of you have read I am going to buy an iBook, but I was wondering, does the processor have the velocity engine on it? http://www.macslash.org/article.pl?sid=03/10/23/027251 according the macslash.org (the link <---) they say that the iBooks don't have the PowerMac G4 velocity engine that it may be a completely different processor. Is this true? Anyone know how to check or tell or have an iBook and knows if it does have a velocity engine? If the iBooks don't have a velocity engine then do the PowerBook G4's? If they do I'd buy a PowerBook G4 rather than an iBook.

G4 = Velocity Engine

All G4's have velocity engines.

If you had looked at Apple's website for the specs for the iBooks, you would've read:
Apple Website said:
1GHz or 1.2GHz PowerPC G4 processor with Velocity Engine and 512K on-chip level 2 cache running at 1GHz
