I just downloaded the iBook app to my 3G and it's pretty cool how the UI within the app is. It's almost like a new UI how you can do dictionary, change fonts, change the brightness etc. Yes i know that all of this has been on the iPad, but i think its just cool how it all just carried over exactly to the iPhone. I really like it.

Just my thoughts.

Actually there's an option to make the background a tanish color. But it doesnt do anything to the text color.

Is it just me or does switching to landscape orientation in iBooks take AGES to flip and then AGES to load the text?

You can turn on White on Black in accessibilities and you can have a black background and white text.
