So I was looking for the works by the Norwegian writer Karl Ove Knausgård....Only to find that his books are available in english, swedish, danish, dutch and some other languages but not in the language it was written in!...

Is there some setting I can tweak to show books in a certain language, or is this the publishers fault?

Shameful,

It's like having Harry Potter in everything but English.

Update: I have checked, changing the country to Norway. It is really weird, there are no books of Knausgård in Norwegian. Even his famous Min Kamp series... Very strange.

I know right? Why would it be in every other scandinavian languages? It's shameful:D

And he is famous too

And another thing, I can't find his oldest book for under 25 $ in e-book format anywhere. Sometimes Norway sucks

This was really an interesting experience. I started to search for his books in Norwegian and found almost nothing. Only some audiobooks, like: Ute av verden (Norsk lydbook) and Min kamp 1-3 (Norsk lydbook).

The e-book market in Norway is very bad. The prices are as high as a physical copy and each branch has it's own dedicated app that locks in the e-books. We don't get norwegian titles on amazon. SO I thought iBooks could help me out, but apparently not. Unfortunately this leads to either piracy or young people that don't read.

I figured I couldn't be the only one whose language sensors got triggered by "Ulenspiegel".
