Is it at all possible for someday a workaround to be created that lets us with updated boot roms jailbreak untethered?

Seriously, come this summer a lot of iPhone fourth generation owners are going to be pissed.

I'm pretty sure it's going to come eventually. Just look at what happened with the iPod touch 2G- everyone said it was likely people would be stuck with the tethered JB and....

If they decide to update to a newer model phone, then they should do some research if they desire to jailbreak. Making any assumption that a jailbreak is possible (tethered or untethered) is foolish without being informed.

And besides, no one owes anyone a jailbreak, tethered or untethered.

We receive these tools as gifts of the time and labor of others. Those who have a sense of entitlement are just arrogant.
