Perhaps I'm blind and am simply missing a function to reenable it, but the lack of a sidebar in iCal was, quite honestly, a stupid decision. Before, in order to change a reminder, or repeat, or which calendar an event was on, or basically just about anything, you simply clicked on the event, and then went to the sidebar and clicked on what you wanted to change.
Now, you have to double-click on the event, then click on edit, and then finally modify what you wanted to change. Seems like a lot of stupid clicking and bouncing around just so Apple could implement some eye candy. Eye candy that obscures your view of the other dates that happen to be underneath the pop-up window!
Is there anyway to go back to how things used to (and should still) be?
