I sync iCal with my iPhone 3G thru MobileMe. (I'm waiting to buy an iPhone 4S before switching to iDisk.) I recently bought a MacBook Air. Now appointments that I set up on my MacBook Air are logged 1 hour earlier on my iPhone and, likewise, appointments that I set up on my iPhone are logged 1 hour later on my MacBook Air. Appointments on my old MacBook are still logged correctly on my iPhone, and vice versa. Both the old and the new MacBooks run Lion.
Looking at System Settings > Date & Time > Date & Time tab shows "Set and time automatically: Apple Americas/U.S. (time.apple.com)" is checked on both Macs. Time Zone tab on the old Mac does not have a time zone highlighted, and the fields after the Time Zone: and the Closest City: (under the world map) are both blank. The fields are "Mountain Standard Time" and "Phoenix, AZ - United States" respectively on my new Mac. That time zone is also highlighted on the new Mac. I see no way to turn these off on the new Mac.
Any suggestions?
