E erding macrumors newbie Original poster Jun 19, 2008 11 0 Jul 28, 2008 #1 using a iMac 24" using Tiger OS, when I boot up ical does not show the current date in the dock , when I enter iCal it then shoes todays date. Is there a setting which will make ical show the correct date on boot up. TIA Tom

In Leopard, iCal shows the current date even if it's not running. You can add iCal to your login items list so it opens automatically when you log in, hence showing you the current date.
