iCal help please!

After using iSync, my iCal program stopped working. It would only open for 10 seconds and then would close without any reason. I have tried deleting everything that i know deals with ical, i have deleted all of ical, and all my calanders,and then reinstalled it. I have tried several other ideas from old posts to no avail. I cant get ical to stay open, can someone help me please.

If you have tried everything, what about an OS re-install? do an Archive and Install and your applications will still work.

Does the behavior continue if you create a new user account and use iCal from there? If so, there may be a corrupted preferences file which is not being replaced when you re-installed iCal.
