iCal Opening Problem

Early 2011 MBP running Lion 10.7.2. Every time I open iCal to add a new event, it crashes and shows some kind of report that will be sent to Apple and tells me to reopen the application. This happens over and over. I do eventually get iCal open but not after several attempts.

Anyone else having the same problem?

No, my iCal opens on the first attempt, every time.
