I am having trouble entering events quickly in iCal. I like to use the month view, but when I double click to enter an event the time for the event is always 11AM. I can't find anyway to change what time I enter the event at unless I edit the event and go through a bunch of steps.

I can't believe that you can't just type in the time with the event. Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

If you double-click on the event as soon as you create it you should be able to edit it right there. If you click on something else first then go back to it, you'll have to double-click then press the edit button.

That is what I'm doing. I type in "4PM Meeting today" and it goes into the calendar as 11:00 AM 4PM Meeting today

I want to type it in and have it know that the event is Meeting today and it to know that the time is 4PM.

Thanks.
