It seems that with the newest build of leopard, some "older"* macs won't be able to use the very cool video effects, as in backgrounds and others, during a video confrence. This is because Apple has decided add in a little CPU limit "catcher" that won;t let macs under a certain speed use these.

I have heard around that someone has seen a cracked ichat or an app that can crack this limit so all of us can see these new effects.

--Does anyone know about this to be true?
--If so, where is that app/crack! 😕

*I have a iMac G5 (second generation) with 1.8Ghz

"My computer can't run the effects at a reasonable rate in real time but I still want to run them!"

So wait, you're looking for a crack to bypass a limit implemented for your own good in a OS that hasn't even been released/completed yet? 😕
