I think what you're looking for is Apollo. It should be in the Installer repositories.

have they come out with a chat app that will allow you to use the horizontal screen feature? I like both mobilechat and apollo but i hate that mobilechat doesnt let you know when you're getting an 'im' and the tiny keyboard. In fact i wish more apps used the powers of the accelerometer:mad:...but thats another thread altogether..

MobileChat 2.23 has a landscape feature... You need to install the 'twenty08' repository (twenty08.com/installer). It is still in testing stages, and crashes a fair bit. In landscape mode, the buttons along the bottom (Numbers/Space/Go) are finnicky (for me at least).

I think MobileChat is far better than Apollo.

They don't have a date out yet for the next stable release, but 2.3 is well on it's way, according to their roadmap.

    Their is also always meebo.com.

It has both landscape and portrait mode. And you get just one login to remeber all your services. Its what I use.
