iChat conferencing

How do you set up a multi-person chat in iChat? I know how to do it in AIM, but can't find the same feature in iChat. Not video or audio conferencing, just text.

Select each participant by holding down the command (Apple) key and then click the "A" in the bottom of your ichat window.

A chat window will open up with a sidebar showing the multiple participants.
