iChat Connection Alert?

When I go to load iChat it begins to load, then I get an error saying I tried to log in too often in too short of a time, yet its the first time I try. This happened just after I installed a new Netgear wireless router.

Any help?
 
I can't provide any help, but I'm experiencing the same thing since upgrading to 10.5.4. I can connect to my jabber account, but I'm dead in the water with the AIM account. The truly bizarre part is that I can connect to AIM through Adium.
