So I'm a new Mac user, on a macbook and I really like it, but all of a sudden yesterday, I can't receive or send messages to one of my buddies on iChat. On another computer it will work, but not with iChat.
My buddy will send me a message, and the red "1" will come up on the icon on the dock, but when i click on it, nothing comes up. Even further, when I click on this specific buddie's name, I will not be able to send a message, because no chat box will appear. When I have my computer show all things that are open, nothing will show up from that buddy, so...what should I do? I'm getting pretty annoyed about it, and when I spoke to my AppleCare help, they said that it wasn't their fault or an app issue, that it was the other computer or the AIM server that had the problem.
Is there anything I can do to pull up my chats with my friend?
