How many of you keep the iChat icon in the menubar? What do you mainly use it for? Is there a way to get the unread message count up there?

I have it up there. But then again, I have every default mac icon up there. I really don't see much use for the iChat one. The menu doesn't really offer anything more than the app window itself. If you use spaces a lot, it may be useful, but thats about it.
