iChat/Messages Unknown Database Error

So I'm trying to add someone new to iChat/Messages (running OS X 10.8.2), but as of this morning I can't add anyone to AIM,

I get the error below, any ideas?

(update: is also seems to be happening on my co-worker's messages app, also running 10.8.2)
