is there a way to change my name on the top of my ichat from my full name to just my first name?

the name only affects bonjour, not aim, in case that's your concern.

The only way i think you can get rid of it would be to change your address card, but i'm not sure if it will work.

you should be able to double click your aim name, if your full name is stored as your mac's user name or whatever.

I'm almost positive you just need to remove your last name in address book.
