iChat overheat?

This JUST now happened with me. Everytime iChat opens up the CPU usage jumps to 99% and makes the computer really hot. I am running a macbook 2.13 GhZ with 2 MB of ram (see below) and this has never happened before...has some update or something screwed things up? But this was running just fine like yesterday...

What is happenning? MY CPU is going crazy with iChat....I tried restarting but nothing worked...

Looks to me like a mild case of iChatgonecrazy syndrome.

Actually, my iChat was acting really funny today as well. It wouldn't connect and would beach ball for a while until I restarted. Somehow I doubt our troubles were related, though.
