My iChat has been on the setting to automatically sign in for years. I needed the password for my iChat for google chat (to transfer buddy list info), but I didn't remember it. So I followed the directions on help and logged out, went to ichat > preferences > accounts. It was originally an AIM account, so I went to that and changed the password. Now, I cannot sign into iChat. It keeps saying the password is invalid. After just trying Forgot Password through AIM's website, they said an email was sent to the alternate email address i signed up with and went get ot me shortly. It never arrived.
I have over 300 screennames there from work related things and college etc that I cannot get anywhere else. I don't want to get a new screenname if Idon't have to.
Is there a way to get my password? TO change it? Am I doing something wrong?
