K kelv1ntran macrumors member Original poster Feb 26, 2009 #1 when i use ichat video wit somebody my cpu spins up super hot. just used it went all the way to 65 degrees is this normal? the keys around "qweasdz" got pretty warm does the fact that i'm using a speck hardcase have anything to do with it?

NewMacbookPlz macrumors 68040 Feb 26, 2009 #3 65*C is nothing. If your fans aren't spinning up above the idle speed (2000rpm or so, check with istat pro widget), you're fine. Start worrying if you get above 90*C 😉
