Ichat temps gets super hot

when i use ichat video wit somebody my cpu spins up super hot. just used it went all the way to 65 degrees is this normal? the keys around "qweasdz" got pretty warm does the fact that i'm using a speck hardcase have anything to do with it?

The video function in iChat is rather CPU hungry and has been for ages. It's normal.

65*C is nothing.

If your fans aren't spinning up above the idle speed (2000rpm or so, check with istat pro widget), you're fine.

Start worrying if you get above 90*C 😉
