iChat Theater not...initiating

I cannot get iChat theater to go into, like theater mode, it only replaces my video with the media and doesn't split into two and have the reflections and stuff. the person I am chatting with can do it no problem. We've each tried starting the video chat but it makes no difference...any ideas?

I am having the same problem

Whenever I drag a video or song onto Ichat theater, it plays for the person on the other side who I am video chatting but I do not see anything and it also does not let me close the song or movie I am playing. The only way to close the song or video is to quit the whole video chat session. Any ideas? I have snow leopard and believe this might have to do with it???
