iChat to Adium, sending pictures...help?

Is there a solution to sending pictures between iChat and Adium?

I really just use AIM and I don't use it that much, so I just use iChat...but whenever I talk to people who are using Adium and i drag a picture into the window and try to send it, it never ever goes through nor do any messages after that. I have to close the chat window and re-send a message to them before they get anything and the picture never goes.

This has always been this way for me. I think it's silly and there's gotta be something i'm missing.

Have you checked to see if you have encryption enabled in iChat? You may need to disable this. You can access this from: Preferences -> Accounts -> Security.
