I am having an issue when trying to do a video conference with IChat. The session begins the initiation of the session but then I receive a "Communications Error" the person you are trying to communicate with is not responding.
This keeps happening when trying to initiate a session with both Mac and PC Users. Any ideas?

Bump down the bandwidth limit in the iChat Audio/Video preferences. If its set to none, drop it to 200 or 500, then try re-establishing a chat. Another handy thing to consider when troubleshooting iChat is testing with Apple's test accounts: appleu3test02, appleu3test04, or appleu3test05. You should see either a Mac ad or yourself with a video effect applied. If you can't connect after trying these steps, it could be a firewall or router that's blocking the ports. Take a look at these two links: 1 and 2. They both have essentially the same information, one just is easier to read.
