ichat video problem

for some reason i cant connect with any PCs and some Macs when i try to video chat.

my internet sharing is off

and im using wireless internet

any ideas anyone?

You might have to forward ports if you're connecting through a router.

In iChat, go to Video -> Connection Doctor from the menu bar.

If all items have a green check mark, then the problem is not on your end.

yeah everything is green, but if its not me y can other PCs connect with PCs

and at certain colleges i cant connect with Macs

how do i forward ports? maybe that will help

i have no idea, im guessing its a server or something

Ahh, if you're using the campus wifi that is a problem since you don't have access. You might want to talk to your campus' IT department for help.

while your here if i have this problem at home how do i forward ports?

i have a D-Link Wireless N router

Go to that site, locate your exact router model. On the next page, look for iChat, click on it and follow the instructions.
