iChat???

I'm trying to add my brother to my iChat friends list and he is trying to add me but for both of us the name shows up for 2 seconds and then goes away. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Could it be that my brother is only has a trial of .mac? That seems stupid but it is the only thing I can come up with as a reason.

I doubt it, but then again, I have no idea why this is happening. Have you tried the Apple Discussions?

delete your ichat preference files in your library and it'll clear right up- I was having the same problem.
