Has anyone tried upgrading an 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 iPhone?

Uh of course. Just upgrade and use ZiPhone...

Best thing to do is a full restore in itunes to 1.1.3. Make sure you sync and backup everything on your phone first!

Then if you are on a Mac follow this tutorial:

I normally use Independence (I am on a Mac) The good thing of using such is that it practically formats the iPhone.

I understand that the new Independence 1.4 Beta is still not making iPhone work completely, then I was thinking on using this new way of iClarified, but does the process is guaranteed, will my iphone work perfectly, or are there any features that will not work?

i did a update to 1.1.3 in itunes (was previously on 1.1.1) by selecting the 1.1.3 ipsw file i downloaded from apple.

how is this different from doing a restore?

found this article on apple's website which basically says the difference is that an upgrade keeps all the settings/media etc...
