Ok so Girlfriend got robbed last week (purse and etc), but the thieves didn't took her phone. That made me want to try to fix the 2FA incase of stolen phone (to be able to track it or try to), because atm she has 2FA authentication but only on her phone, so we cannot get a code if it gets stolen.

Current devices

Me
Iphone 6S 10.3.3
Ipad Mini 4 10.3.3
Apple Watch Series 1

Girlfriend
Iphone 6s 10.3.3

So i went my my apple ID and added her Phone number has a 2nd trusted phone, and i went to her Apple ID and added her phone has a 2nd authentication.

Then i did some test on icloud.com

When I try to log in on my account. It auto send a prompt with a map saying someone tries to login and accept and then gives me a 6 digits.

But when i try to log on her account, it ask me to either send a SMS to her device or my device and only sends a 4 Digits code.

Configuration is the exact same for both, any reason why the difference of authentication process? (is it because i have an Ipad on my ID that she doesn't?

Thanks
